Sundays with Stan

You never have to wait for anyone, or anything, if you learn to find pleasure in the moment at hand.

Have you ever got really peeved because someone was late? You may never be bothered by that again if you are completely present to the amazing world in front of you. Come to every event or moment as if it could be your last and you will see that there is always plenty of stimulation right then and there.

OK, so I know this is a little contradictory to my “tick tock” post, but I there is some truth the the statement above. I think the last few weeks I’ve noticed it the most, but I am just LOVING life, so when we were stuck in traffic for about 6 of our 8 1/2 hr trip home from Vegas last weekend, that I didn’t feel like the world was ending. I was texting friends, enjoying the scenery, and trying to make the most out of the situation that would normally put me over the edge!

So what I’m saying is, if you are really enjoying your life, people being late or things taking longer than suspected, it won’t be so completely frustrating, however, it’s still frowned upon to be late…
